Hi. My name is Mery, I’m 38 years old and I live in Mexico City, Mexico.
On September 22nd, I suffered a stroke in a flight back from Houston, TX, that put me in the hospital for over a month. Since then, I’ve experienced seizures caused by a lesion in the hippocampus called Mesial Sclerosis. Besides the seizures, I lost mobility on the left side of my body.
I’ve seen multiple neurologists and gone through many medicines to control the seizures. Finally, a great doctor was able to find the right treatment to reduce the frequency and intensity of the seizures and soon I will be able to start full rehabilitation with physical therapy.
The new treatment is a mix of medicine, lifestyle changes and a strict diet. To accelerate my recovery, I started to complement my treatment with Ozone therapy. In order for these therapies to be effective at regenerating my nervous system, I need to have at least 60 sessions. The price of the Ozone therapy ranges from $140 to $200 USD per session.
I’ve been able to afford 19 sessions until now and I am glad to report that I’ve noticed significant recovery of my cognitive and motor skills –this note is a prove of that—and in reducing the number and intensity of the seizures.
I am asking for your help to continue to fund the Ozone therapy sessions. My goal is to fully recover so I am able to enjoy time with my little girls and be a role model of strength and grit to them and all of those suffering of similar conditions.
