Merrimac Baseball Lights

The boys and girls of Merrimac youth baseball need your help! 

It has been about 5 years since one of the rotted out light poles on Field A came crashing down on the field forcing the town to remove the lights due to safety concerns.  Since then our kids have been unable to know what it feels like to play night games under the lights, have had their games regularly called due to darkness and have been unable to play in tournaments hosted in Merrimac. 

Since 2011, the Board of Directors has been saving for this goal and with your help this is the year we hope to change all of that!  Thanks to the generosity of the Town of Merrimac and fundraisers with local businesses and town residents we now have brand new light poles installed and we have been able to purchase approximately half of the lights required to light the field.  We are making a final push this month to purchase the other half of the lights and get them all installed for the 2017 baseball season.  We are only $5,000 away!

Please consider making a donation to bring night games back to Merrimac and once again give our kids the opportunity to play under the lights!   Each donation gets us closer to this goal and no donation is too small.
