HUWIB high school mentorship fund

Harvard Undergraduate Women in Business organization is dedicated to making a meaningful social difference locally. This year, we are launching our 3rd semester of Mentorship and Microfinance, a high school mentorship program that provides high school students with an opportunity to learn personal finance and leadership skills. Our goal is to teach participating students how investing can be a force for social change. The M&M curriculum draws from academic journals and current events, and is taught by senior members of Harvard Undergraduate Women in Business. This gives high school students an opportunity to learn from mentors who can give them advice about academics, colleges, and careers.

This year the classes will take place once per week on Harvard campus. Our hope is that you can help us with your donation so we can start the program strong. As transportation fees would be a source of financial hardship for some of our participants, your donation will help us subsidize T fares for students in need. Furthermore with more funds we would be able to recruit more and bring in a diverse students body from the whole Boston area.
