Support us in the last phase of Apple Tree Yard.. We have nearly completed our project and this last push will see the faciltity up and running, assisting, caring and supporting people..
Mental health and wellbeing support networks are essential. Unfortunately all of us at some point can be effected in this area and it can hit any of us at anytime. With health cuts and facility closures this leaves a shortfall of care and support for those in need of somewhere to turn. This is real problem as many people are now unsupported and forgotten so their life becomes a daily struggle. Anxiety, Confidence Issues, Eating Disorders, Compulsive Disorders, Learning Difficulties, Stress, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, and past traumas are just a few examples of what some of us will endure and struggle with defining our lives. We have helped children and teenagers that are suffering from low self esteem or learning difficulties and watched them grow in confidence significantly, which in turn has had a positive Impact on their social lives and education. It is proven that animals are healers and can have a therapeutic and healing benefit to us mentally, emotionally and physically. Combining animal welfare along with a centre for health and healing to all, we offer daily sessions working with and for the
animals, embracing their value and caring for them. We also offer Art Therapy Sessions and 'Living off the Land' sessions all designed to help one reconnect, gain confidence, positivity, and educate all in a safe and supporting environment. Friendship building and group meetings are also a part of the Centre's structure.
Meeting other people who can relate or empathise with your own feelings and vulnerability will help you to see you are not alone and that a positive, content, fully functioning life is possible Apple Tree Yard
Thank you to everyone for your support.
