Mental Health Awareness Tour

March 22nd 2018 at 6pm my whole world was literally turned upside down when I got the call from my uncle that my Dad had committed suicide. The pain of that call will never leave me and is something I am trying to cope with on a daily basis. These past few months have been incredibly difficult but I have been using every ounce of energy I have into creating something positive to remember my dad by, make him proud and hopefully help others who are going through something similar.
September 23rd I did a Mental Health awareness live music event which was 6 months since my Dad's suicide and I have made this page because I don't want to just stop at London, I want to be able to put together a mental health awareness tour within the UK and U.S to create maximum awareness around something that sadly has plagued 2018. Too many suicides have happened this year alone, in particular within young people and also heavy within the music industry.
Another reason I wanted to create this page is in the hopes of gaining some help as unfortunately I may need to hire a lawyer soon regarding my Dad's suicide. My Step Mum has always caused problems throughout her relationship with my Dad since I was 8 years old and since he passed things have gotten worse and she has stooped to an all time low I thought even she couldn't reach. She planned my Dad's whole funeral without telling me or involving me in any way, I had to find out second hand and sit through a service where it wasn't even acknowledged as him having a daughter. On top of that she has refused to cooperate with giving me any of my Dads belongings to remember him by and I also have no idea if I have any inheritance as I do not know what his Will states. Something I would need to hire a solicitor for which I don't have the funds for. There is a possibility when my Dad was sick that this lady could of gotten him to take me out of his Will which is a horrible thought but if the case I would have to contest the Will which again costs money. It is all very overwhelming and as an only child its a battle I feel I am completely facing alone and out my depth on.
