Memorial Services For Devon Ladson

Devon Tristan Ladson was larger than life, literally. He was 6'4 and at his heaviest 320 lbs. He was known as the "gentle giant". If Devon was in a room, anyone around him was laughing. He was all jokes and laughter. He was all jokes even in sickness.
About 2 years ago we found out Devon had problems with his kidneys. He had to undergo surgery to have his kidneys removed. He was then placed on the donor list and had to undergo dialysis treatment several times a week. 2 years later, Devon had to undergo a coronary artery bypass surgery. For the past 2 years Devon has been in and out of the hospital. He had his good days and bad days.
The cause of Devon's death was found to be congestive heart failure. He passed away Tuesday, November 19, 2019 in the ambulance on his way to the hospital.
Devon is survived by his mother Barbara Ladson, his older sister Lashika Ladson, his niece Jarmelia Ladson, his girlfriend Nikia Johnson, his daughter Rose who is 2 years old and plenty of friends and family who miss him immensely.
Due to his sickness, Devon was not able to work. He was on a fixed income and his main concern was getting healthier.
We are asking for donations to assist with his Memorial and funds for his daughter and girlfriend. His girlfriend is having to start a new life after his death and needs some assistance as Devon was the sole provider for his family.
A Memorial service for Devon will be held in Charleston, SC on December 14th.
