Memorial Lacrosse Harvey Fundraiser

Donation protected
On Friday August 25, Hurricane Harvey hit Texas. This storm has taken a major toll on tens of thousands of people across the state. Homes were destroyed, lives were uprooted and many are left with nothing. Shelters are becoming over crowded and volunteers are running thin even though Houston and much of Texas has risen up to help others. Memorial High School Lacrosse has decided to help those less fortunate by collecting and distributing goods and by raising money for those who’s homes were left destroyed. This money will be given to the Memorial Girls and Boys Lacrosse Lacrosse clubs who will then buy the supplies for repair, tools and goods needed to help the currently flooded homes. The remainder of the money will be given to the various shelters and distribution centers in the Memorial Area. I, Kelsey Henderson will be placing the money in my personal account to then write a check to Britt Chapman for him to be reimbursed for the supplies and then distribute the money where he sees fit. Even the smallest donation will help in aiding those affected by such a tragic event. Thank you to everyone who is volunteering and donating. Your generosity and love for others is inspiring.
