Ike was born on May 12, 1959, in Mount Royal, New Jersey, to William and Virginia Cook. He married Danielle Cook (nee Vitola) May 22, 1989. Ike had a wide range of interests and talents. In his youth, he enjoyed drawing and ventriloquism. He owned a large collection of souvenir shot glasses, classic music records, and CDs. Ike was an exemplary husband and father. He prepared home-cooked meals nearly every night and always insisted that the family sat down at the table to eat them together.
