Dear Family and Friends today we lost María Olivia Palafox, known to most as Olivia, Tia Olivia, or Mama Vía. She was a wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, aunt and friend to many. She had been suffering complications of diabetes before being hospitalized and inevitably passing away on the early morning of October 15th, 2018.
Tia Olivia was a hard working person, she was a tough and honest women and was admired by many by her incredible work ethic. Tia Olivia was an amazing cook and was especially known for her tamales and perfect tortillas. She was an aunt to more than 35 and was a great one too. Now all we are left with are memories of her.
Her family needs our help today to help bury their mother. We are reaching out to you to help with whatever you can and it will be greatly appreciated.
May God give us all strength to overcome this hardship of losing our beloved Aunt especially to her husband Juan and her children Johnny, Adam, Carmen, Rachel, her grandchildren and great grand children.
Viewing will be Monday October 22nd, 2pm to 5pm at Lipp & Sullivan, 629 D St., Marysville, CA 95901.
Rosary will be Monday October 22nd, 7pm at St. Joseph Church, 223 8th St, Marysville, CA 95901.
Funeral will be Tuesday October 23rd, 11am at St. Joseph Church, 223 8th St, Marysville, CA 95901. Followed by burial services at Sierra View Cemetery 4900 Olive Ave, Olivehurst, CA 95961.

Querida familia y amigos, hoy perdimos a María Olivia Palafox, más conocida como Olivia, Tia Olivia o Mama Vía. Ella era esposa, madre, abuela, bisabuela, tía y amiga de muchos. Ella había estado sufriendo complicaciones de la diabetes antes de ser hospitalizada e inevitablemente fallecer en la madrugada del 15 de octubre de 2018.
Tia Olivia era una persona muy trabajadora, era una mujer dura y honesta y muchos la admiraban por su increíble ética de trabajo. Tia Olivia era una cocinera increíble y era especialmente conocida por sus tamales y tortillas perfectas. Ella era una tía de mas que 35 y era una gran Tía también. Ahora todo lo que nos queda son recuerdos de ella.
Su familia necesita nuestra ayuda hoy para ayudar a enterrar a su madre. Estamos en contacto con usted para ayudarlo con lo que pueda y será muy apreciado.
Que Dios nos dé toda la fuerza para superar esta dificultad de perder a nuestra amada tía, especialmente con su esposo Juan y sus hijos Johnny, Adam, Carmen, Rachel, sus nietos y bisnietos.
