Memorial Expenses for Shirley (Yde) Lintner
Donation protected
Shirley Lintner (nee Yde) was diagnosed with IgM Lambda Lightchain Multiple Myeloma in January 2018. She's been a strong and determined fighter, enduring dialysis, bone biopsies, neuropathy in her hands, harsh chemotherapy and more.
But, cancer is an unfair fighter. And there is no cure for Multiple Myeloma. She and her husband, Larry, of 45 years agreed that it was time to let "the big Guy upstairs" take the reins.
About 30 years ago, Larry and Shirley saw a headstone in Illinois that they knew they would want when then time came. Larry found a local memorial stone company that is able to replicate it for her. However, fighting cancer is not only physically and emotionally brutal but financially draining.
They would never ask for help for themsleves as they both have always been the wonderful type of people that would make you a hot meal and give you the shirt off their own back.
It would be Shirley's wish to donate any funds over and above the cost of this beautiful headstone, would go to the American Cancer Society in her name.
