We are a group of burners who are working to gift this experiential art project to the community. Please meet Mementomorium Project — “Transforming the fear of dying into the happiness of living". We aim to create a physiologically piercing experience of a symbolic burial ceremony — yours! We invite you to a short-term session in a sensory deprivation casket — light-proof, sound-insulated, ventilated, 12”-memory-foam-cushioned chamber.
We believe that acknowledging life’s finitude through a deathbed-like perspective on one's life brings about the meaningful priorities necessary for achieving the happiness of a flourishing life lived intentionally. The target audience of this project is 100% of the population :)
Mementomorium is supported in part by a grant from unSCruz and team members own funds. Your kind donations will help tremendously with materializing Mementomorium 1.0 to be unveiled at unSCruz on May 2nd, 2019.
