Women Scientists in Antarctica!

The Women in Polar Science group ( https://www.facebook.com/WomeninPolarScience) has joined forces with Dattner Grant and other partners to develop an opportunity for women to travel to Antarctica early in 2016.  I'm excited to have been selected as one of 42 women scientists to take a 30-day excursion to Antarctica to bring together women in science from across the globe. This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to make in-roads in promoting women in all science disciplines, including social science! Homeward Bound is already offering scholarships to cover over 50% of the $40,000 cost. I am trying to raise $15,000 to cover the trip and airfare to the launch site in Hobart, Australia. All funders of $5 or more will receive a postcard from Antarctica be a part of the future of women in science! Thank you!
