Meg Stay Strong

$44,105 of $50,000 goal

Raised by 198 people in 43 months
As you know, our dear friend Meg Lowe suffered a serious bike accident on Sunday, May 24th.  Since hearing this terrible news the outpouring of support has been tremendous.   It's clear Meg and Jen have an abundance of people in their lives who love them and want to help.  To date, through generous donations many of you have already made,  we are almost at our goal of $20,000!      Donations will be used by the family to help cover housing for out of town relatives, private nursing,  expenses not covered by insurance as well as any other expenses Jen and Meg may encounter as part of Meg's road to recovery.

The gratitude that Meg and Jen feel cannot be adequately expressed in words but please know that  your continued friendship, love and support mean the world to them.

UPDATE - THURSDAY, JULY 9TH

Great News!!!! Because of your generous contributions we have reached our initial goal of $20,000! We could not be more appreciative of the tremendous support you've shown Meg and Jen. With that said, we are going to extend the fundraising efforts and raise our goal to $30,000. Again - huge, huge thanks for all of the love you've sent to Meg --- it means the world!

UPDATE FROM MEG - Tuesday, July 7th

Currently watching The Tour de France on my NBCU Sports app counting the hours until I can leave ..... Can't wait to get home!!! Good news that day is Thursday. As I have said to some of you - I went out for a ride on May 24th and I am coming home on July 9th, what a long strange trip it has been. That said, I would not have made the progress I have made to date without all of you - your support, love and well wishes have kept me going.

Once home my long road to recovery will continue: I will do Cardio/Strength, PT and OT @ Burke 3 days a week plus rehab in Conn on other days. I still have jaw and facial surgery pending this fall so I am trying to get as strong as possible in advance of that procedure.

I am staying positive and focused and all of you are a huge source of strength for me each day.

I love you all.

Meg
