Meghan Custer Family Support Fund

It is with a heavy heart that this community has lost a truly wonderful person in Aaron Custer. Those who knew him couldn’t help but be truly moved by his kindness, generosity and friendship, and he will be sorely missed.

The purpose of this fundraiser is to help Aaron’s family have just a little comfort during these times of need, and hopefully prepare themselves for the days ahead.

Aaron Burton Custer was born on August 10, 1977 to Merrily Pychinka and Michael Custer in Wilmington, DE. Survived by his parents, his loving wife Meghan (Robinson) Custer and their three children, Morgan (age 12), Bryce (age 7), and Kyle (age 4). He was preceded in death by his stepfather, Dennis Pychinka. Aaron will be missed by his brothers Bret and Lee, and his many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.

Aaron grew up in Schnecksville, PA and graduated from Parkland High School in 1996. He had a passion for cooking which led him to the Culinary School of Le Cordon Bleu in Minnesota. After graduation, he spent most of his career as a professional chef until he transitioned into the food brokerage business. This, along with many other ventures as a business owner/entrepreneur, fulfilled his life passion of working with people.

Aaron was a loving husband, father, son and friend, who loved coaching his son and daughter’s soccer teams. His desire to coach stems from a childhood obsession with the game where he played for multiple teams including Parkland High School, travel teams with Triborough and Select Soccer. Aaron also loved to fish, play golf, and his Philadelphia Eagles. But most of all, Aaron loved to spend time entertaining family and friends. He took great pleasure in making others happy.  He always made sure that everyone had a drink in their hand, food on their plate and a smile on their face.

Everywhere he went, Aaron made friends. He had the ability to start a conversation with anyone, and he always saw the best in others. His larger than life personality will be dearly missed by many.

Thank you, and God Bless.
