Megan's Trip to Carnegie Hall

Hi! My name is Megan Cox. I am a senior at White Station High School in Memphis, TN. 

I have been selected as one of eight Gold Medal Portfolio recipients for my art portfolio in the Scholastic Art and Writing Awards. This is a very prestigious award and the highest award someone can receive. This is a national competition, and of 320,000 submissions, I was one of eight
selected for such a high honor. 

 I need funding to be able to travel to Carnegie Hall in New York City to receive this award. If I get to go, I will be given the award on the Carnegie Hall stage. With this award, I will also receive a scholarship. 

The trip is in early June, so I need to raise as much as possible by May 1st so I can make the trip arrangements. 

Any contributions will be appreciated to get me to Carnegie Hall.  Winning a gold medal for my portfolio has been a huge dream of mine, and I would greatly appreciate anything to help me experience the honor of receiving my award at Carnegie Hall.
