Megan Alicia's Liver Transplant

Megan Alicia is 33 years old, and a newlywed of 9 months.  She has been in Kaiser Permanente Hospital in Anaheim  for 21 days, in ICU, with family by her side.  Megan is fighting for her life with many setbacks as the days go on. She has a failing liver, compounded with her kidneys shutting down.  She had her first round of dialysis, and pulled through it like a champ.  Dialysis will continue daily if tolerable and she will get stronger.  She is being fed intravenously with antibiotics and is still on a ventilator.  Megan's Doctors are absolutely the best.  Through the Doctors and Specialists, she has been accepted to USC for a liver transplant, but needs to be off of the ventilator, blood pressure medications, and sedative meds and be somewhat alert before she will be able to be transferred.  Family has been with her by her side every step of the way, spending 7/24 with her.  There are daily setbacks, but when transferred to USC, the expenses will mount.  Mike, Donna, Nick, Tim, Patty and Justin will be over 100 miles away, and will need housing to be with her daily.  We have a daily posting with Caring Bridge, under
MeganAliciaGeorgeFisher.  With faith and hope, the Good Lord will send something positive to Megan.   We pray hourly for continued improvements leading to the transfer to USC.  We thank you for your prayers and contributions to help save our daughter.
