Meg Williamson & Family Medical Bills & Expenses

Donation protected
We all know that expenses of this kind are unpredictable. Meg and Keith's family, friends and the canine community have responded with such generosity and we want to keep the love growing for this family so, we have adjusted our goal. Thank you from the Williamson family for your continued support.

On December 26, 2018 Meg Williamson was found in her home by her family, while taking a nap,  without a pulse.  She was transported to a local hospital and is currently undergoing evaluation and treatment after suffering a massive coronary.   Meg has previously suffered 2 strokes and this event has taken a major toll on her body and the lack of oxygen to her brain and other vital organs has caused major issues.

Meg and her family run a grooming shop, Canterbury Tails, located in Allen Park, MI and are currently unable to open their business due to Meg's illness.  The bills are beginning to add up and the impact of those bills and the lack of income, due to a closed business,  will soon be felt.

While the prognosis at this time is not promising,  we are ever hopeful for Meg's recovery but remain realistic about the future and know that there may be a need for final expenses, which insurance does not cover.

Meg and her husband Keith, along with their sons, Patrick and Justin are well known in the canine community for their involvement in breeding and showing Longhaired Dachshunds under the Gemdach prefix and training in both conformation and obedience.  Meg had a long been involved in 4H and mentored many young people and people new to the sport of dogs.   Many people are enjoying well trained, and groomed dogs now because of Meg and her family.

Meg and I have been friends and competitors since childhood.  We consider ourselves sisters and have always enjoyed competing against one another and found instant friends in each other.  We have over the years become partners in breeding dogs and developed many plans to continue the Gemdach line since her last stroke.  Her family is struggling to support her and each other in ways that they never dreamed would be needed.  Please help them any way you can.
