Medical Marijuana Momma

Since I was about 9 years old I’ve been a mystery to doctor in Utah. All they know is my digestive system moves so slowly that the acid in my stomach builds up to try and break down the food, but it wouldn’t move along from my stomach so I would puke and puke.  As a result of the acid I would end up in my later years having almost 15 ulcers.  I will eat food and puke it up, no matter what they tried I couldn’t keep anything down. I went to specialists and my parents spend all the money they could afford on doctors just for us to get told they don’t know. Until I got older and one of my friends showed me marijuana, yes it’s illegal in Utah for medical and recreational purposes but maybe it would help. As a high school student being 5’ 7” I weighed hardly 100 pounds I couldn’t keep weight on and I was always sick, missing school for doctors, passing out, puking up to 12 times a day when I would try and eat until I started to use medical marijuana for my sickness I COULD ACTUALLY EAT and keep it down. I let my doctor know what I was doing and how it effected me and his response was “move to a state where it is medical legal there is nothing we can do here”. Well I’m not an only child and my siblings had moved a lot and I didn’t think that was fair so I told my parents “when I graduate I’ll go you guys stay here”. Until my senior year I got arrested for marijuana, I was stuck spending my savings on fines and probation. Now I’m 19 years old living on my own working 40+ weeks to save with a baby on the way stuck in Utah, a state where I can not legally take my medication that doctors have told me keeps me alive. If I smoke in Utah they will take my baby away and if I don’t, I’ll end up in the hospital for Malnutrition. So that’s why i started this page, to get some funding to travel to a place where medical marijuana is legal.
