Medical Help for Baby Ariana

Donation protected
Baby Ariana was born August 26, 2018 to Tara Gregerson and Juan Lopez. Right from the start Ariana had complications. She had a big bulge on the side of her stomach and was missing a kidney and 2 ribs. Further testing showed low white blood cells and they found she was born without a thymus. The thymus produces t cells which fight infection, so her immune system is compromised.  Tara and Juan were told that she has Digeorge syndrome, a sydrome that is caused by a deleted chromosome. Digeorge can cause many different complications.
Caring for Ariana includes wearing a mask, gloves, and gown, and keeping her in a sterile environment to keep germs away. She also has a feeding tube in her nose to receive formula.
Ariana needs a  thymus transplant in the upcoming weeks to months and will be staying at the Mercy Children's Hospital in Kansas.  Tara and Juan will be making many trips back and forth to the hospital and bills will add up fast. Please donate as much or little as you can now so they can be prepared for expenses they will incur!
Ariana has a lot to overcome but she is a strong little fighter and she has many people praying for her. Please help Baby Ariana and my sister Tara and keep them in your thoughts and prayers. They live 5 hours from us and it is so hard not to be there with them!!
