Rich McCord/ Medical Costs/Support

Please help my brother-in-law and sister thru this difficult time. Rich McCord was in a terrible motor vehicle accident 1/14/17 and sustained serious traumatic injuries. He has been airlifted to a trauma ICU facility for treatment of his injuries. He has undergone surgery to his cervical spine, suffered spinal chord and cervical vertebrae injuries, among other injuries, which will require extensive neurosurgical treatment, ICU care, post-hospitalization physical therapy, and so on. He has a long road to recovery ahead of him, with no real answers at this point. What we do know is he is strong, my sister Wendy McCord is strong, his family is strong, and you- his friends are as well. Everyone is doing their best right now, and praying for him and our entire family. He is at a hospital which is far from home. This means my sister will be missing work, and experiencing the loss of two incomes. In addition, she has to remain strong for Rich and her children, she also has to take care of herself while dealing with rising medical bills and the added stress/expense of local lodging, food, and travel.
Rich is a young at heart, fun-loving, family man, who is the main financial support for his family. He is loved by many. I do not recall a time that I have ever seen him without a smile on his face.
My sister, her children, nor Rich know I am making this outreach for help. They are all very unselfish, and proud, and I know they will be very thankful for any and all help they receive in any way, shape or form. Whether it be financial, a friendly outreach, help with their dogs or watching the house, or prayers.
