Medical Expenses for Dina Ortiz

This fundraiser is to help my Aunt Dina with her medical and living expenses incurred since her diagnosis and treatment of beast cancer beginning in October 2016. Dina had a mastectomy and is currently undergoing chemotherapy, therefore has been unable to work. My aunt Dina is the most loving, kind hearted, selfless woman I know and I feel has had such a huge impact on my life. My aunt Dina loves the Lord and introduced me to my faith thru her love, prayers and example to me. Dina also helped to raise me, my brother Charlie, and sister Marisa,  before she had her own family, so I also look to her as a second mom. Dina is a wife to husband Nicandro, mother to 3 beautiful daughters, Lenore, Naomi and Isabel, and grandmother to 4 precious grandchildren with one on the way. Dina is also a very gifted artist and teacher's assistant to children with special needs. Dina has such a big heart and is always serving others. My hope is that we can raise whatever amount of money possible to help her get thru this difficult season of life. We are faithful that God is with her and is faithful to meet all her needs. As I think of all the ways my Aunt Dina has touched my life, I'm often reminded of a passage in the Bible she used to read to me from Ecclesiastes "There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under the heavens: a time to be born and a time to die,
a time to plant and a time to uproot, a time to kill and a time to heal, a time to tear down and a time to build, a time to weep and a time to laugh, a time to mourn and a time to dance, a time to scatter stones and a time to gather them, a time to embrace and a time to refrain from embracing, a time to search and a time to give up,a time to keep and a time to throw away, a time to tear and a time to mend, a time to be silent and a time to speak, a time to love and a time to hate, a time for war and a time for peace.
With sharing that, I feel this is my time to try to help my aunt Dina as much as I possibly can which includes reaching out to others to ask for support. May God bless you and your loved ones and may you never have to walk thru this season in your own life or beside someone you love. Thank you.
