Bill Cooper-Rear Ended @70mph

Friday (5/31) Morning on I-96, my dear brother-in-law Bill Cooper was rear-ended by a large truck going 70 mph while he was stopped on the expressway. It is a miracle that he is with us today. The wonderful State Troopers came to see him yesterday because they needed to see he was doing okay. They were very upset that this happened and assured us that he was completely faultless.
He was unconscious at the scene, and they had to extricate him out of his car.
My sister received a message from the Social Worker that he was in a severe accident and that he was in the Trauma Center... something you never want to experience.
Let me tell you a little bit about my brother-in-law, Bill is one of the most amazing men you will ever meet. I am beyond blessed to call him brother-in-law. He is my sister's rock, and I am beyond grateful that they found each other a few years ago. His quiet strength, wisdom, and constant love led my niece and nephew to quickly, on their own, call him Dad.
Bill is a former Marine, a faithful friend, dutiful son, wonderful brother, amazing brother-in-law, loving and selfless father, and the most amazing husband ever (Jen's words... that would be weird if they were my words!!)
My heart hurts for all of them. For those of you who know my family, you know that we love deeply, we care deeply, we fight each other's battles, we protect, we celebrate, we laugh, we cry, and we support each other.
WE CANNOT take away his pain. WE CANNOT take away her stress. WE CANNOT take away the kids worry. BUT WE CAN do something to take away the financial strain!!!
If you are able to give, whether great or small, my heart will be forever grateful to you!
