Medical Costs for Blu's amputation

Update 7/10: Blu’s leg was successfully amputated yesterday at Iberia Animal Clinic. He is doing very well and we have raised 50% of the funds needed to cover amputation. Thanks you to everyone who donated to save Blu’s life, you are so greatly appreciated!!!
Original post: Blu is the goodest boy who belongs to a very special family member who needs my help and yours. Blu who was shot by some evil human in June 2019 around St. Martinville, LA after wandering off from his home. He had surgery to save his rear right leg but the recovery has been unsuccessful and he now needs to have his leg amputated asap. The surgery will be around $700 and he just spend over $1000 on his first surgery, which has left a financial burden upon him. I am starting this gofundme to help cover surgery costs while we try to find Blu a new forever home. We are hoping to get him into surgery on tomorrow, July 9 in New Iberia, LA. Blu will stay with his owner until recovered. Please help and please share!
