Medical Treatment

As some of you may know I will be retiring soon to enter into the next phase of my life. This will enable me to help and spend more time with my ailing daughter, Christa. After they have exhausted all of their funds, savings and financial family support I felt the need to create a Go Fund Me account for her mounting and continued medical care costs due to complications of her Crohn’s Disease.
Christa's Story;
Between 2002 and 2015 my daughter has had 10 surgeries and many failed treatment plans. She and her husband Anthony are hardworking people with 3 children, working full time through all of her treatments and surgeries. Recently, she has had a major setback in her health loosing 20lbs on her tiny 5 ft frame, (weighing 84 lbs now) leaving her physically unable to work. Her husband works 14 hr days and has exhausted most of his 401K, and all of his sick and vacation time. Christa has recently gone through 7 weeks of diagnostic testing that revealed a mass wrapped around the small intestines and 2 Deep Vein Blood clots that she is currently having treatment for. Her NJ Drs felt unable to treat her any further and transferred her out to The University of Pennsylvania Hospital where a specialized team will perform a surgical biopsy.

I could go on and on with all that Christa and Anthony have yet to conquer. I know you all have good knowledge of rising costs within the health care system.
