Medical medication needed etc

Hi all recently i had 5 collapsed lungs (2 in surgery) and 2 operation 6 drains and a 10 inch cut between the ribs. I have been out of hosp for just over a week now and still have all my stiches in. However my bank balance has taken its toll and bills are piling up ie. Rent, electricity and the day to day costs medicine , car registration etc... While the operation is  over the recovery side will be ongoing for the next couple of months off work (8 weeks off work ) im a contractor so if i dont work i dont get paid and i cant get any help from the Government ie ( centrelink) as im a foreigner here .
