12-day Ethiopian Educational Tour

The Meaningful Power Foundation will be funding three Detroit, MI youth with a trip of a lifetime to Ethiopia on a 12-day educational tour December 28, 2017 - January 8, 2018. This Ethiopian tour will emphasize the rich historical and cultural background of Ethiopia from ancient to modern times. The level of knowledge attained from this 100% educational endeavor will release a vast amount of knowledge that will be retained for a lifetime and for future generations to enjoy. While in-country, the educational tour will take the youth to Addis Ababa (capital of Ethiopia), Lalibela, Axum, Gondar, Bahar Dar, Melka Kenture and National Museum of Ethiopia for educational lectures and field study.

Round-trip fare from Dulles International Airport to Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, hotels and food costs equal $3,799 per person. Additional funds will be directed toward round-trip airline flights from Detroit, MI to Dulles International Airport (international departing location).
