MEAction Colorado 2019

MEAction Colorado is  into our second year of advocacy and support activities for the thousands of Coloradans affected by Myalgic Encephalomyelitis. We have a lot of events planned.

January 18th  we went out in the cold to the Womxn's March pushing wheelchairs with the names of people with ME who were too sick to join us.

March 2nd we hosted a screening of the film Unrest. 

April 3rd three of us joined 200+ ME advocates to storm Congress demanding recognition and support for ME.  We met with staffers from both Senators and 6 Colorado  Representatives.

The May 11th #MillionsMissing  rally at the state Capitol was a great success. Brilliant speakers. Good music and dear friends old and new getting together. Thanks to all of you who made it possible. 

This summer and fall we will continue lobbying for increased attention and funding for ME at the national and state levels.
