Antenna Story

Since 2006, the Missouri Digital Group (MDG) has been able to provide a tower site, antennas, feedlines, equipment, internet service and maintenance to support D-Star, Fusion and DMR repeaters without asking for user support.  Now, however, MDG needs assistance to hire a tower crew to replace two antennas.  This replacement will allow MDG to continue to provide quality digital amateur systems.  These systems allow Hams to provide community support through SKYWARN, ARES and HARN.   The Missouri Emergency Radio Service (MERS), a 501(c)3 entity , provides financial support to the MDG and other Amateur Radio projects.  In the past, amateurs have asked how they can support all of the MDG digital systems and we have said none was needed.  Now MDG is in need of the support of the amateur community.  MDG needs to raise $6000 for the antennas and a tower crew.  Your support of this MDG antenna replacement project will be greatly appreciated.
