MDE Cheer Abilities Team Needs You!

We have an enthusiastic team of seven special ladies anxious to let the world know what they can do! Though small in number, this team comprised solely of children with differing abilities and is excited for an opportunity to compete with other Cheer Abilities teams in the local area. In case you are not familiar with Cheer Abilities, these are teams made up of participants with physical and/or intellectual disabilities that refuse to let any perceived limitations get in the way of their having fun and performing for a crowd. This our first year with a coach who is working hard and preparing our ladies to compete against other Cheer Abilities teams at local and regional competitions along with their typical peers. We want to show the crowd how hard our team has been working. 

The financial challenges for parents of our special children can sometimes be overwhelming, leaving little for fun activities and social events. This is where you can help, with your contribution we can ease the burden of competition fees, uniforms, travel costs, and the like. Help our families and children simply enjoy the excitement of the competition, and of course, we are looking to win!!! Every little bit helps, so no donation is too small.
