We win as a family, and we lose as a family. This weekend the Oxford family lost James Chambers, the father of one our football players and managers, Phil Chambers. Mr. James Chambers passed away as a result of a house fire that destroyed all the Chambers family had. .
The family lost all in the fire so we will are setting up this GoFundMe Campaign to provide an opportunity for anyone who would like to give money to help them get back on their feet. The need for this money is certainly immediate in nature. Anything that we can gather right now will help the Chambers get through this very difficult time, and may provide one less thing they have to worry about as we all help them slowly rebuild their lives.
That is all. Pour your hearts out. Give what you can for this more than worthy cause. This life is fleeting. Kiss your loved ones, especially your children. Tomorrow is never promised. Be grateful and thankful for today, because it is a gift.
We are also asking that each and everyone of you take a small moment away from your life today to pray first for the soul of one James Chambers, that he may rest in peace and live his eternal days dwelling in the house of the Lord.
We would also like you to pray for Phil, his mother Julie, and older brother Will, along with the rest of their family. Their loss being so absolute it is difficult to put into words anything that can be of some comfort. Which is why prayer is exactly what they, and we, all need at this moment. When our own tongues can't do the justice, I believe this is God's way of saying for us to pour out our hearts in prayer, and let Him speak to the hearts of The Chambers Family.
