McKinley Blausey Family & Medical Fundraiser

Donation protected
On December 4, 2019 Bryan and Nicole Blausey received the news that no parents should ever have to hear--their five-month year old baby girl McKinley was diagnosed with Primitive Myxoid Mesenchymal Tumor of Infancy. This type of cancer, which has only ever been diagnosed 30 times since 2006, extends from behind her left eye to her brain. While extremely aggressive, the tumor is thankfully localized. To battle it, McKinley must undergo several rounds of chemotherapy and travel for three weeks or more to receive radiation. Though small in size, McKinley's mighty in spirit, especially with the support of her loving family and friends and the care of the amazing team at Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh.

Unfortunately, the financial costs associated with this journey are mounting quickly. On December 27, Nicole received the news that she had to choose between her career or caring for her daughter. She chose the latter. McKinley's two-year-old brother Colton needs childcare. He's still a growing boy who needs a "normal" childhood, given the circumstances. Doctors office visits shouldn't replace playing with toy trains and friends. Bryan's medical insurance only goes so far. They also just purchased a new home in August and are now down to one income.

Baby McKinley needs your prayers--for the healthcare professionals assisting her care, her tireless family and all of the others who are in her corner as she goes against this disease. But, if you are inspired and your heart calls you to financially support McKinley and her family, words cannot express how much they would be appreciated. The impact your donation can make to help aid this little angel and her family means a tremendous amount. They are in need of immediate assistance, and anything helps.
