Most Teens Don’t Trip to Washington D.C.

Donation protected
I am reaching out to you on behalf of our schools Most Teens Don’t chapter. In case you are unfamiliar with Most Teens Don’t, it is a social norming campaign that allows students opportunities to work together with others to change the perceptions of people when it comes to drug use. The purpose of the campaign is to prove that Most Teens Don’t engage in dangerous activities such as drinking alcohol, using tobacco products, or marijuana in Jackson County.

On the week week of February 4-8, 2019 I will be traveling to Washington D.C. along with three other students from Jackson County. While in D.C. we will attend a week long interactive training that will focus on substance use prevention. In the training we will have the opportunity to learn how to positively influence change in our school and community. This training will help me develop leadership and problem solving skills.

I am searching for donations to help my family cover the costs of this amazing opportunity. Donations collected will help pay for my flight, conference registration, and food. Your generous contribution would not only help support sending me to Washington D.C. but would also help give me the opportunity to learn more about our Nations history and visit with our State Representative.

I hope I can count on you to help me get to Washington D.C. If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact Emma Sigman via email at [email redacted]

Thank you for your consideration!

Sincerely,

Tatyanna Nolen
