Help for Maxine

This is an independent fundraiser to help Maxine Tunnah back on her feet. After recent traumatic events, most people will be aware of the situation as it was front page news in the local paper, but for those who don't know Maxine was involved in a house fire and has suffered 30% burns to her body and is currently on the intensive care burns unit at Wythenshaw Hospital. She is in an induced coma and on life support machines. Although there is no specific outcome regarding her condition we are all very positive and she is fighting every minute! Recovery is expected to be somewhere along the lines of months. Her family are all together, in support and praying everyday that she gets better.
The purpose of this fundraiser is to help Maxine upon her leaving the hospital as the majority of her home has been destroyed in the fire. Unfortunately, there was no insurance in place due to recent financial struggles and medical problems the money we are raising will be to purchase home furnishings, to decorate and to fund all things that are going to be necessary  for her home life and recovery. Her family have had to swallow some pride to  ask for help and also to make our situation more public, but please ensure that your generosity will be greatly appreciated and enormous gratitude will be shown. Most people close to Maxine and her family will agree with me in saying that Maxine is a lovable character and this is the least that she deserves after the things that she has been through over recent years. It hurts to say this but God forbid Maxine's recovery doesn't go as planned the money raised will be used towards funeral costs and any remaining will be donated to a charity of the family's choice.
