Maxine's House Fire Fund

As many of you saw last week, my sister-in-law Maxine had a major fire in her kitchen!  All their major appliances are a complete loss (stove, refrigerator, microwave), several of the cupboards have to be replaced, several of the small kichen appliances (crockpot etc) are gone, and the entire house has smoke damage!  They will have weeks of work in front of them: repainting all the rooms and washing everything that has ash and soot on it.  Unfortunately, much of their kitchen goods and additional belongings are not salvagable.

To make matters worse, they do not have home-owners insurance, and are understandably overwhelmed with the situation - and the road ahead. 

Several of her friends and family have asked what they can do to help.

Please know that Maxine and her family are truly some of the kindest, most humble people I know - and are way too selfless to ever ask for your assistance.  (Just getting her permission to setup this GoFundMe page was tough!)  She is an incredibly tough and independent woman.  But even the strongest of us can and should be reminded about the power of community!  Let's unite together and show our love for this precious family!!!
