Max Segal Senior PKF Fundraiser

Hello, my name is Maximillian Segal. I am raising money to travel to Santiago, Chile to compete in the the senior Pan American karate championships.
I am nineteen years old, and have been doing karate since I was five. I have been a member of junior team USA since I was fourteen. I have attended four junior Pan American championships, and have been very successful. I have won two silver medals, and one bronze medal at these events.
In January I competed in the United States senior team trials held at the Olympic Training Center in Colorado. I fought hard, but I was only able to get the bronze medal. This placement meant that I would be the first alternate for my division.
Since then I have been training the hardest I ever have. I dedicate around fifteen hours a week inside and outside the dojo to improve. All the training has paid off because now my country needs me. I was contacted by team USA and asked to fill in for an injured fighter.
It has been a dream of mine to represent my country. When I was fourteen I made that dream come true. An even bigger dream of mine however, is to represent team USA as an adult. I am proud to say it has finally come true.
I was given a very short window of time to prepare everything necessary for the trip. The competition is one week away and I need your help. Please donate, share, and know that your are supporting a young man fulfill his life long dreams.
