My name is Max Kitzmiller and I am 24 years old. I was diagnosed in November with Hodgkin’s Lymphoma, and I am on a 6 month chemo/radiation plan at OHSU.
I am raising money to help cover medical expenses during these times.
This all started just about 8 weeks ago on the day of Halloween. I woke up and noticed a small lump on my neck. I immediately went into the doctor and had blood work and a biopsy done. The results came back that it was cancer. Hodgkin's lymphoma. I was diagnosed at stage 2 Bulky. The cancer has spread through my entire left chest and is pushed up against my left lung and heart. I recently had surgery to have a port installed in my chest, and have been through my first round of chemo.
I will be treated at OHSU in Portland, Oregon for the next 6 months, and will be getting chemo and radiation. I have a long battle ahead.
