Mau's Medical Fundraising

On June 30th, our sweet little 5 year old boy, Isaac Kamau (Mau) was critically injured after being hit by  a car outside their house in Lowell, Massachusetts. He was rushed by an ambulance to the local Lowell General hospital where they stabilized his breathing and heart rate. Since Mau had suffered extensive head injuries, he was airlifted to Tufts floating children's Hospital to the trauma center.

In the news 

Thanks to God, the doctors determined that there was no internal brain or spine damage, however, he sustained a subarachnoid hemorrhage,  left tibia and fibula fracture , left clavicular fracture and 3 broken ribs. He was admitted in the ICU when they intubated him until he was stable .
 
Unfortunately, the driver who hit Mau has minimal insurance coverage , we are kindly appealing for financial assistance  . Mau’s Parents have taken time off from work to take care of him as he needs constant assistance, doctor follow-ups and physical therapy .
Mau, along with his mom Monica ( pepe), dad Wilson ( willy)  and sisters Sienna and Ayana, have a long road to recovery. 

We, as family and friends would love to ease as many outside burdens as possible so they can remain focused on taking care of Mau. We would like to raise funds for the family to help with the cost incurred .
