Matthew"s TKD World Championships

Matthew has been studying ITF Taekwon-Do since the age of 5. He’s currently 18 years old and is a 3rd degree Black Belt. He, along with two other black belts, presently runs the White Tiger TKD Club of Monroe in Connecticut.
Matthew recently competed in the 2017 ITF TKD USA National Championship and Team USA Selections held in San Jose, California. He placed 2nd in both Sparring & Patterns. His placement in Nationals earned him a spot to complete in the ITF World Championship in Dublin, Ireland this October. He was also selected to represent our country on the USA Sparring Team.
This is a huge honor and a once in a lifetime opportunity and experience.
Due to Matthew paying his way to Nationals by himself, he needs help paying the high cost of attending this competition. We’re asking for help to finance the trip for Matthew. All funds will be used for the flight, hotel, competition, registration fees, team uniforms and gear that he will need to compete with as well as helping with the expense of one of his parents going with him.
Matthew has been training for over 13 years and his hard work, determination, and perseverance has brought him this far. Please help Matthew with this unique opportunity as we are confident he will come home with a medal.
