Matthews Family Medical Expenses

On Friday, August 10, 2018 John Matthews was rushed to the hospital via ambulance. He complained of being over heated today while working and they brought him to the ER.  His blood pressure was extremely high  [222/106]. They  diagnosed him as having Metabolic Acidosis at first, which is basically where his body had too much acid.  Because he was dehydrated, his kidneys couldn’t flush out the acid. They admitted him into the ICU & gave him meds for the blood pressure. They were just monitoring him & trying to get all his vitals back to normal.  

The hospital kept him over the weekend for monitoring and tried a few different medications to bring down his blood pressure and relieve his migraines.  

Because he he didn’t seem to be improving, a CT scan was ordered which concluded he suffered a stroke on Friday.  

On Monday, they decided to move him to Little Rock to be near the Neuro to be monitored under a specialist’s care. 

The Matthews Family consists of John, Tiffany, and their three BEAUTIFUL daughters, Linden, Lucy, and Laney.  They would literally give you the shirt off their backs even if it was the last thing they owned.  John Matthews is an amazing dad and his daughters and wife need him to have a swift recovery and not have the financial stress that will come along with this hospital stay.  

Please, if you can spare $5, by skipping your Starbucks or fast food tomorrow, if would be MORE than appreciated.  If you can’t spare any money right now, that’s ok too.  Please offer up a prayer for John and Tiffany and their three daughters.
