Matthew and Holly Wray

Some of you may know that on Christmas Eve, our brother Matthew and sister-in-law Holly and their unborn baby were in a horrific car accident. Both were taken from the car unconscious, but Matthew regained consciousness at the scene, while Holly did not regain consciousness until she was in ICU unit. Holly had to be cut out of the car. This occurred when a car barreled through a residential neighborhood at a very high rate of speed and T-boned their car on Holly's side. Holly was driving.

 Matthew is minimizing his injuries, all the while taking care of Holly. Both had concussions. She has multiple hip fractures, on both sides, and skull fractures, including her sphenoid and temporal bones, laceration of her ear canal, and other injuries. There will be a long road to recovery for Holly including rehabilitative therapy. Matthew is Holly’s primary care taker at this point.                                    

It is most tragic that, by Christmas Day, ultrasound showed that Holly and Matthew's precious baby had died due to this accident. The emotional and physical toll on them is unimaginable. We are all at a loss for words as we grieve this together.

It will be some time before they can get back to work. We are doing this in an attempt to help them lessen their stress and worries during this time. There will be mounting medical bills, legal fees and the like. Any help would be forever appreciated and we know they will be infinitely grateful.
