Matt's Cancer Treatment

In November of 2018 my uncle was diagnosed with stage 4 lymphoma, cancer of the tonsils. Each week he is receiving  chemotherapy once a week as well as a radiation treatment four days a week. He is also receiving daily hydration treatments. He has been admitted into the hospital on emergency intravenous nutrition due to the severity of the burns in his throat from his treatments he has been unable to eat for weeks and has lost about 60lbs. In addition to his chemo and radiation treatments he also receives daily injections to increase his white blood cell count called a bone marrow transfusion. He has been on several different medications and in a lot of pain. Due to the severity of his illness he had to take time off from work however, he was denied short term disability and has been let go from his job and also losing his health benefits, making the sole income for his household fall on his wife and with a daughter in college, and the expense of his treatments as well as household day to day expenses the burden of financial difficulties has taken a very large toll on his family and their livelihood.
