Matthew “Matt” Raymond Stayer, 17, of Greenville, SC left this world to meet his Savior on Thursday May 3, 2018. He was born on January 4, 2001 in Ware, MA the son of Chris and Kim Stayer.
He recently graduated high school and was employed at Chick-fil-A. He had a strong faith in Jesus Christ and was an active member of his church, Mountain Bridge Bible Fellowship.
Matt was a godly young man who was always smiling. He loved to make other people happy and would put a smile on their face with his goofy ways. He loved The Lord, his family, his friends and riding motorcycles.
He is survived by his parents Chris and Kim Stayer, and his siblings Montana, Aiden, Ryan, Noah and Chloe. He also leaves his maternal grandparents Trisha Robert of Thorndike, MA and Ed (Denise) Maurice of Lehigh Acres, FL and paternal grandparents Nancy Bournique (Michael) of Wales, MA and Kenneth Stayer of Palmer, MA. He is also survived by his aunt and uncle Michelle and Eric Gibb of Taylors, SC and their children Megan Vick (and family), Josh (Cassandra), Abby, Emma, and as well as other aunts, uncles and cousins. He also leaves behind many close friends.
