Matt and Lauren need our HELP!

I met Matt and Lauren at the local warming shelter many months ago during time I was volunteering. They got down on their luck and were living in their truck with their dog Jasmine and cat JuJu. They always had such great energy and so many smiles the nights I volunteered. It was easy they became a pair of my favorites. I instantly connected with them because of their dog.  Jasmine had a broken harness which made it difficult for them to walk her. So my dog rescue and friends hooked them up with a big care package fro Christmas for their Cat and dog. The night we gave them the gifts Matt turned around and gave me a beaded necklace he handmade himself. This couple who had basically nothing but their pets and some belongings in a truck gave me this special gift he made as a thank you. The day the incident happened Matt was volunteering at my dog rescue. Him and I joked and goofed around talking about our collective crazy silly dogs. Him and Lauren had JUST the week before gotten into an apartment!!! THey kicked homelessness by a full week and were both working two jobs to make it work. They were getting it all back on track, something most take years to do. He left and that night I get a call telling me he basically died!!!!! That he collapsed and Lauren did CPR to save his life till paramedics got there! I literally could not wrap my head around it. He is 40, three years YOUNGER than me!! NO WAY could he be fighting for his life on a machine in the ER???  I visited a few times after he settled into an ICU bed and saw him on a million machines and couldn't believe it. Last night he was transported to a larger better equipped hospital and as of this morning he is making AMAZING progress!!!! He gave Lauren a thumbs up and may be off the ventilator today! Matt is strong and one stubborn bloke. He has a love for Lauren, Jasmine, JuJu, and for life in general that is magnetic. He will give someone the jacket off his back (as a homeless man with so little himself)~(this actually happened). WHAT AM I ASKING??? Please help us as a collective KEEP Lauren and Matt in their apartment which is why Istarted this campaign. Lauren has truly not left his side and has been his most determined advocate. I am hopeful we can keep them in their apartment with this gofund me and if you can spare a dollar or help by sharing this we would appreciate it. Please help us help them. I told Matt a couple days ago when I saw him, we were watching Guardians of the Galaxy, that he needed to shape up and get better so he can come spend more time with the dogs here.
