Help a family recover from fire
Donation protected
April 12 UPDATE: the suspect has been caught and charged with arson. Despite the fact 2 people were in the house when he started the fire, he is not being charged with anything else.
UPDATE: Thanks for the support so far. The family is seeking permanent residency and is current residing at a hotel but will soon have placement. In the meantime, if you can't donate monetarily but still want to contribute, clothing, feminine products, toiletry, furniture or home goods, etc. can also be donated. Please send an email to [email redacted] to arrange/schedule pick up. We will keep you updated on our progress.
A Maryland family of five has been displaced due to a house fire. Two family members were home when the fire started and were able to get outside safely. The firefighters were not able to arrive in time to save the home they have lived in for many years. Unfortunately, they have lost everything. After watching their home security surveillance, they watched an unknown man walking around their house with a gas can. Investigators brought in dogs who confirmed the fire was arson. The surveillance video will be released to the local news in the hopes of finding the culprit. Anything to help this family get back on their feet would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you for your thoughts, prayers and kind words.
