Hey Everyone, We will have a team this year at Checking for Charity Hockey Tournment!
All the proceeds will be going to Checking for Charity for SUDC (Sudden Unexplained Death in Childhood). Our team Mary Ann’s Heroes will be playing the hockey tournament for SUDC In memory of Mary Ann Fitzgerald. Each team must raise donations for the Checking for Charity tournament, and the further we go in the tournament to more money SUDC will receive. The tournament is August 11th-August 13th. We want to make sure we keep Mary Ann’s memory alive with everyone and also help raise awareness for SUDC so no other family has to go through this pain.

Mary Ann is our beautiful daughter who passed away on October 16th 2016, Just 11 days before her 5th birthday. She is our whole world and now we are forced to live in this world without her. Mary Ann was the most amazing, beautiful, friendly loving little girl who was here one moment and gone the next. Her laugh was contagious and her smile could light up the whole room as soon as she walked in it. She loved kindergarten and learning so much that she couldn’t wait to come home and show us what she had learned. She was smart and funny and sometimes just silly. She loved sharing and helping others. She was perfect. Mary Ann loved playing soccer, t-ball, swimming, riding her bike and just being outside and playing. We miss her every day, and even though she is gone, she will never be forgotten, and her memory will live on through the many people she has touched forever.
