Help the Lee's honor Marvin's Life

It is with great sorrow that we announce the unexpected passing of our beloved, Marvin Lee. August 5th, 2018, Marvin's 68th birthday, was a day meant for celebrating as the family planned to gather for a cookout that afternoon to surround the birthday boy with love and appreciation. Unfortunately, that never took place due to a sudden and unanticipated change in health that tragically ended with Marvin being life-flighted to Sacred Heart Hospital. Unfortunately, the hope his family had upon arrival at the hospital, quickly faded as they received the devastating news that due to heart issues Marvin had passed. Those who knew and loved this amazing man are all heartbroken while missing the loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend he was to all he touched and impacted. His sudden death leaves us with a hole in our family that we'll never fill, as he was one of a kind, greatly loved and will be forever missed.


While we find ourselves grieving for his loss, we are comforted knowing he is in a better place and looking down on us. Marvin's wife, Shirley, has asked in lieu of flowers that donations would be greatly appreciated to help cover the unexpected costs. This page has been established to give others the opportunity to express the love and appreciation of Marvin’s life and a way to help his family offset current and upcoming expenses during these difficult times. All donations received from this campaign will go to Shirley for any expenses associated with Marvin’s death such as cremation, medical expenses,  and to fulfill Marvin's wish with a Celebration of Life in his honor. 


With help from this site by the generous donators, it is our desire that we grant his wish and celebrate the man that we love so much, who has had an everlasting, unforgettable presence and impact within our everyday lives, as well as our future. Marvin always said funerals tend to be sad, and he didn't want that for his family and friends. So it is our plan, through Marvin's Celebration of Life, we are able to come together with all his family and friends to make this a true celebration of life by having a good time like he always wanted and to honor the special time we did have. 


 Always with a smile to share, a listening ear, encouraging words and a sense of humor that would have you laughing in no time, Marvin was exceptional in so many ways. Anyone who had the pleasure of getting to know him would tell you what a wonderful, down to earth and funny man he was. They also commented on how easy it was to talk with him, how he always took the time to ask how others were doing and how he made them feel genuinely cared about. He was often described as a caring, kind-hearted and gentle soul who stood out from the rest and could always make you laugh. His memory will continue to stay alive within all our hearts through the influence of his unconditional love, compassion, wisdom, support, and encouragement that is still present today. 


With that being said, in honor of Marvin's Life, the family is holding a Celebration of Life and luncheon at the Molino Community Center on the 1st of September at 11:00 am. The family asks that you please bring photos, heartwarming memories, and funny stories about Marvin that you can share in his honor that we all will treasure hearing and will be grateful for when we're missing him the most. There will be a time designated during the event for all who would like to share special stories, memories, or the impact he had on your life. His family hopes you will come to celebrate the extraordinary life and man Marvin Lee has been and know although we miss him terribly, he will never be forgotten and always in our hearts.
