Marvin Jennings Medical Fund

Marvin Jennings is a volunteer fire fighter for Clear Creek Volunteer Fire Department.

Marvin was hunting over the Memorial Day weekend when he was mauled by a mature male black bear.

While being mauled and struggling, Marvin managed to get to his handgun, shoot and kill the bear, but not before sustaining severe injuries from multiple bite wounds.

Marvin was bleeding badly and knew he needed help asap.  Somehow he managed to ride an atv down the mountain to call for help.

Thanks to quick actions by Marvin’s teammates, Mores Creek Ambulance and Wilderness Ranch QRU, he got that help and was flown out on St. Luke’s Air Med.

Marvin’s fight isn’t over yet.  He’s had surgery to replace an artery in his arm and time will tell if he will need more surgery for tendons, ligaments, etc.

Marvin has been a dedicated volunteer to his community and anybody in need of help.

Now, a volunteer needs your help.

Clear Creek Volunteers are asking you to help us take care of our teammate until he can get back to work.

Thank you!
