Support the Maruame House Fire

A few weeks ago, my parents lost their home (my childhood home) in a fire.  Fortunately, my parents made it out alive with minor injuries that were treated at the ER, but one pet cat died from smoke inhalation. 

Although the fire did not burn the structure completely to the ground, it is uninhabitable and nearly everything inside the home was destroyed by smoke and water damage. 

My parents have lived in Monmouth for 39 years. My mom was a preschool teacher for nearly 30 years and continues to substitute at local schools. My dad immigrated to this community and never wanted to leave. Over the years, they have given back to our community through their church, by helping the elderly, and  by volunteering to bring food to those needing assistance.  Now I ask for the community to help support them.

We are hoping to raise some funds to help with rebuilding costs not covered by insurance. Unfortunately the estimated cost to rebuild the house is more than what insurance will cover.
