Thanksgiving Community Dinner

Marshalltown Moms is raising money for the Salvation Army’s Thanksgiving Community dinner which will take place Thanksgiving day from 11 AM-1 PM at the Salvation Army in Marshalltown.
Last year the Thanksgiving Community dinner served over 800 people!
We are asking for donations of as little as $1 to help support those in need this Thanksgiving. Marshalltown Moms will match the donations (dollar for dollar) up to $200. We hope, of course, to raise even more than that!
If you are able and willing to assist Marshalltown Moms in this initiative help us, any money you donate will go directly to 800 people that are our friends, our neighbors, or even the person standing next to you at the checkout counter.
Your $1 (or more) donation will be used to buy 45 turkeys, 12 hams, pies, and sides to create a Thanksgiving meal for our community.
But really your donation means so much more than what it can buy.
Your $1 (or more) donation will:
· Give approximately 800 people the chance to share a meal with others.
· Feed many people truly in need as it may be . This may betheir only meal of the day.
· Give our neighbors who are dreading the holiday something to look forward to.
· Provide comfort to our neighbors who may be lonely or grieving this holiday season.
Again, Marshalltown Moms will match (dollar for dollar) up to $200!
