Mar’s Healing Journey of Metastatic Breast Cancer

Our dear daughter, wife and friend was 11 weeks ago diagnosed with stage 4 metastatic breast cancer. After years of pain and doctor visits, during an MRI the doctors found tumors that have spread across the body. Aside from the emotional toll of this devastating diagnosis, Marianna is in constant pain and daily things such as walking, showers, cooking, cleaning and various daily tasks have become extremely hard and some impossible.
Due to the pain Marianna is no longer able to work and her husband has become her full-time caregiver. Marianna is not able to receive government welfare as that will jeopardize Moosa's residence permit to stay in the country. And during this time it is critical that he is by Marianna's side fighting this together.
As Marianna has a long road ahead of treatments we are looking for support to get Marianna through the next 2 months of chemo which will be followed by frequent returns to the hospital for additional treatment for years. This is a time where Marianna desperately needs our help to pay for the basic needs to get by such as rent and food.
The doctors are saying they can't cure Marianna however we believe in Miracles. And we are also looking at treatments outside of the country when Marianna finished chemo.
Given that this disease has spread, Marianna is not able to walk well and will need to be moving to find a new place that can accommodate her medical needs.
Anything you can donate will be very much appreciated and go towards rent, food, bills, support additional treatment and help Marianna and her husband move into a new home.
Marianna has been sick since chemo and we are looking to take this financial burden away from her so she can focus on her recovery.
